2Pac "Pac's Life" Album Tracklisting & Features Info

Amaru has kicked off the promo push for the late Mr. Makaveli, 2Pac's new posthumous album "Pac's Life", with the single "Untouchable" featuring Bone Thugz N Harmony which is a Swizz Beats production. The new album features today's stars to obviously keep up with the times in the rap game, so don't expect the original production and features to make the cut. Pac's Life does feature some of 2Pac's real life affiliates in his lifetime, such as Bone Thugs themselves, Snoop Dogg, E-40, and the Outlawz. Other artists featured are longtime WestCoast Rydaz affiliate DK, TI who you heard on Better Dayz, and 50 Cent and Young Buck reppin' G-Unit.

If Amaru really wanted to respect Tupac, they would just leak the originals in CD quality.

I'm sick of hearing sub standard bullshit from one of the greatest artists ever.

Trust me, the leaked CDQ OGs we have now are probably his best...  The other shit stayed unreleased for a reason, they sucked.  Think about it, he was banging out so many songs a day, not all of them were good songs.  Plus they would just sound way too outdated now, and would only sell to the old Pac die-hard fanbase.

Afeni has no choice, if she wants to keep her funding for all the other programs and shit shes does in dedication to Pac up and running.

The world's biggest hip-hop artist, Snoop Dogg, will be featured on a Tupac Shakur track with SA phenomenon, Zola.

According to Lance Stehr CEO of Ghetto Ruff, Zola's record company - Snoop has already recorded his part of the collaboration. Zola will do the same in September when the Tupac Foundation and Tupac's family come to South Africa to scatter some of the dead rapper's ashes over Soweto.

His ashes have already been scattered in the Pacific Ocean and over Malcom X Square in NeW York. A spokesperson for the Tupac foundation said it was appropiate the ashes be scattered over Soweto as the township had palyed a big part in the South African struggle.

During Tupac's upbringing he was not oblivious to the struggle of the black youth in America and Africa.

Tupac's mother, Afeni Shakur, was a section leader in the Black Panthers - a revolutionary African-American group-and this influenced Tupac's life greatly. This can be heard in his lyrics and more so in his poetry.

"We are honoured to be associated with a project of this nature," said Stehr.

It is the first time an African artist will appear with Tupac Shakur & Snoop Dogg. The release date for the album, which includes top acts like 50 Cent, has not been confirmed. Just recently Zola was a support act for Snoop Doog on his tour of South Africa.

Zola was ecstatic yesterday. "When kwaito started over 10 years ago, no one thought it would last....It's now gone international. "I'm so excited that I'll be able to scream in two years time," Zola said


There have been a few rumour's circulating, that an unreleased track called "Street Life" will be remixed for this compilation

yup i agree 100%.. fan's want what they know exists.. we don't want 'remixed' bullshit.. we want mixed finalised tracks as much as poss..

i know that the excuse in many cases has been "but the tracks weren't complete".. but with street life we know damn well (that outside maybe some mixing down) the track IS complete enough

they should take off g-unit and kanye.. the others are ok i guess, but of course id rather see rappers like big syke instead of ti and val young instead of ashanti. but there must be some good songs on this no doubt

Sounds like another remixed wack Pac album (that makes it four)

and Kanye already sampled Play Ya Cardz Right original sample before so I wonder if he's gonna sample it again or sample something else
