Successful Scenario
Due to L.A. Lakers and Indiana being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. L.A. Lakers and Indiana had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

That would be good for the Lakers and terrible for the Pacers.

Not enough shots for Stephen Jackson.  Plus he would drive Phil crazy with his streaky ass shooting.

Oh man, i like Stephen a lot, but i'm happy with our current roster. We already acquired Radmanovic to make 3's, and Mihm is a great underrated defensive C who will do great things starting from the bench and not having to care about foul troubles. Plus Cook can hit the 3's too. Naw, i don't like this trade, even if Stephen Jackson is a very good player. It kills chemistry imo.

Laker fans saying this is good? LMAO. We're already stacked at the shooting guard and small forward positions, and Stephen Jackson demands a whole lot of touches...Chris Mihm and Brian Cook are 2 of our more reliable bigs, the area where we already lack in most...LOL@any Laker fan agreeing to this trade.

Too many small forwards...I wouldn't do it
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

Nah man we need Mihm. Dude is a good back up Center. Give Bynum a little more time to develop. Plus like other people said too many SG's and SF's.

I like Mihm. I'd actually perfer he be the starting Center, but every trade rumor I've read has involved him so who knows. Kwame's performance towards the end of the season might've impressed the Lakers enough that they feel that they don't need Mihm.

True, the only way we should give up Mihm though is if we're getting a big man in return.

stephen jackson is a good player BUT the lakers should by no means get rid of cook he's going to be an excellent player off the bench for years to come with that touch he has, he's like a lesser robert horry IMO. stephen jackson is too much of distraction and would ruin the fledgling chemistry in LA

i think kwame should start, i think that's what he need to be for the franchise. i don't really like chris mihm as the center he's too soft,

I have to disagree here. Offensively he's soft, or to say it better he could be more aggressive and with his mind concentrated more, cause he can score. But defensively he's a very good C imo. Not soft at all.
