Lyrically I would have to say that Nas beat Jay-Z with ehter...but the beat to Takeover was far more tighter than the one to Ether....but wot ppl forget is that Nas ripped Jay-Z in the space of 2mins 30 secs....and he didn't even diss him in the whole song..the song is "Stillmatic"...that song had an amzin beat and lyrics....so Jay Z has been ripped lyrically by Nas twice since jsut before the Takeover album dropped.

personally i dont really consider the beat when its a diss track... just take away the beat and make them both acapellas... Jay-Z gets slayed.
