Ups And Downs is the only one thats not your typical Scott Storch beach.

Lets Ride sounds like a mix from Poppin Them Thags and Times Up and that Meth, Tyrese track is your typical Storch.

Ayo Detox, don't forget that Ruff Ryders "Get Wild" track, there's a piece of that in "Let's Ride" too. Hah, Storch is starting to sample his own shit.

I think Storch has really been bringing some generic ass shit for the past couple years as far as hip hop goes.  His shit is boring and predicatable as hell.

yeah but the production for daz's money on my mind is cool, 1 of the best iv heard recently

The reason is because he has 100% bit Dre's drums and patterns so they come off like westcoast sounding beats.

'Just A Lil Bit'  <--almost the EXACT drums and patern used by Dre on 'How We Do' and I know tihs cuz its easy to go from that record to How We Do when I mix LOL
'Lets Ride'

Are two that I can think of off the top of my head that sound like an exact rip off of Dre.

Pattern is similar, but Dre used some much harder 808 drums on How we do. I'd say "Just a little bit" sounds more like "Playa's only" which was also from Scott.

A lot of people have bit each other's drum patterns, and even Dre has recycled his. "Dre Day" drums sounds similar to the original "Murder was the case", the melodies on "Dre Day" and "What's my name" are very similar, and "Can't see me" sounds similar to "What's my name". And Daz took Dre's drum pattern from "Nothin but a G Thang" on "Respect" and just changed the drums themself.

He always bites them.  You are using examples of people biting their own drums and paterns (except the daz one).  To me that is not a big deal.  If I could go through more of the music hes done recently I can point out more beats where they sound like imitation Dre drums.

The problem is that he uses them so much that it sounds almost like he is ripping off his sound.  If it was only one a few tracks I would agree but like the last handfull of joints Ive heard from Storch, they jack Dre drums and patterns.

Between The Game "Let's Ride", Bishop Lamont/G Malone "Up and Down", and Black Ty "Get it in", he's been hooking up west coast artists with some hot singles.  All three have the potential to blow if promoted right.
Right!
