friday- what a magical day at the record store!
« on: December 08, 2001, 06:53:45 AM »
friday i skipped 2nd period to cop nate dogg's music and me
so i head on down to hmv at yorkdale (here in the t dot)
i walk in,go to the rap section, look under nate dogg, and guess what i find???.........

g funk classics vol. 1 and 2, my mouth drops, cuz in toronto, you getting this cd if u specifically import it then you gotta fork up 45 bucks, i was standing there for like 5 minutes, just staring at the fuckin cd, alright so i grab that and music and me

then i keep walking, and guess what i find....
soopafly, yeah , that woopty woop!!!
in toronto?, alright then im thinking if they got soopafly they gotta have DPG, i was right

so at this point this the best day i have had at a record store, cuz this aint cali, you wont find DPG and soopafly at  major retailer!! and that aint it!
they had mc eiht "we come strapped", mc ren, spice 1, ohh wee, i spent $80 on the 2 nate dogg cd's and DPG,
and plus i still gotta get warren g, mack 10, and ice cube greatest hits,

fuck there goes my christmas bonus

I think you Password shouldnt deal with Nate's music at all, you'd betta stick to Onyx and Mystikal if you fall asleep on West Coast classics.

first of all , g funk classics is sounding beautiful in my head phones right now

second,. canada, especially toronto is no where near england, overseas europe and those countries
we get 99% of all hip hop releases, its just that independant releases like g funk classics and DPG, those make it up here if u import it in which cost extra $$$

Nate's first album is incredible... it has not one single bad song.

Yo man.. that's crazy because when I went to look for Nate "Music & Me" last week I also saw that they had got in Nate's double album!
I was like what the hell because I waited for that album to come here for like a year and a half.. I ended up buying the import at HMV for 42.99....
