Another Game groupie....your given game too much credit here for this one...50 was a bitch and a "snitch" long before Game & 50 hooked up...How game is responsible for Busta and Obie not selling what everbody thought they were gonna sell is beyond me....Game will move units, but I doubt he'll move the same amouth of units as he did his first time....If anybody is responsible for the "decline" in sales for Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit it's Dre(Dr. Lazy)...Hi[ Hop/Rap fans aren't buying albums like they once did, when had to purchase albums just to hear the traccs on it or listen the radio late at night where they would premeier traccs off the album before they were released.

I agree with what you're saying but how is Dre responsible for albums released on Shady and G-Unit?

game might have had a little to do with it but i'll tell you the main reason everyone is anticipatin games album and no one cares about g-unit's

becuz g-unit's music is shitty and is only gettin shittier

most of game's shit is dope

and i like to listen to game, don't like to listen to g-unit

50's first album and the g-unit album is all i ever liked

Your right, I was thinking on a smaller scale and quality at the time...He's not "actually" or directly responsible for albums released on Shady/G-Unit, but Game is the last person I would say is responsible for the decline...I'm sure almost everyone would like an executive produced Dre album, an album mixed by Dre, or at least 3 or 4 cuts from him and who better then to receive that then your in-house team....Jimmy I or the artists themselves might be a better argument.

Busta only has sold 540,000 to date, not sure bout opening week, but I doubt it was anything crazy. Obie has only sold 150,000 to date. So he is for sure a major flop.
Forget G-Unit, how the hell can The Game caused Obie to flop? PLease answer this for me. Game never attacked Obie of Shady. Infact Game has love for Eminem. When Busta's album came out, Game was still on Aftermath and was showing majopr love to Dre. Game even had Busta and Eminem on his album. Think before you make such ridiculuos claims. This is a West Coast forum not the BWS forum, you can't get away with saying such stupid shit.

Game did take a big piece of the G-Unit fanbase with him. But for the most part, their sales are down cuz they fuckin suck. Yayo, Mobb Deep, and Lloyd Banks all put out damn near the same album and no one liked either of them.

Have you guys ever had the thought that maybe it just might be pirating? Think about it. People are starting to use the interent a lot more now and why waste 20 minutes of your time to go down and buy a $15 CD when you can get it in 3 minutes for free in your computer? That's just a thought.

80% of the hip hop music on BET, MTV and the radio is wack, but artist manage to sell. These days the quality of your music is playing a smaller and smaller role in how much you sell.
