How are any of the songs classic material? Not all of the production is good enough for a classic, so if this isn't good then the rapping has to be top notch which it isn't. Classic rapping is jay z at his prime, nas at his prime, tupac, biggie, rakim ... not game. Yer i'm probs gonna cop the album but this is not classic stuff as it hasn't pushed the boundaries or anything. It's just a consistent album with good production which for some reason most rappers can't seem to do at the moment.

1) Don't throw away the "classic" word

2) Time tells if an album is classic or not

3) This a solid album by today standards but not classic, plus there hasn't been no classic in hip hop for at least 6-7 years

there will never be a univerally accepted classic ever again, people hate too much these days
they want music like in the early 90's, you give em remedy and they still hate
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

album isnt even one of the best 3 or 4 albums of the year, nowhere near a classic IMO

i agree its not a classic, but i think its the best album of the year.  what albums you like better than this one...One of them is Jim, right?

Havnt heard Game's album enough to rank it yet but so far it aint all that imo. Here are some of my fav albums of the year in no order

Busta Rhymes : The Big Bang
40 Cal : Broken Safety
Birdman/Lil Wayne : Like Father Like Son
Jim Jones : P.O.M.E
J.R. Writer : History In The Making
Ice Cube : Laugh Now Cry Later
Daz : So So Gangsta
Cam'Ron : Killa Season
Killa Tay, C-Bo : Moment Of Truth
the only album which is as solid as Game one is The Big Bang...

Co-Sign!! I'm no dickrider but westcoast fans live to much in the 90's era, and thats the real truth sadly..

There aren't that many albums pushing boundaries though, I mean College Dropout I would say is a classic hip hop album as it pushes boundaries. I thought Lupe's new album had the potential to be a classic album because he brought a new technique to rapping. We just need people that push the boundaries, and not follow a set formula.

I too believe that people now days throw the word "classic" around far too much and far too early. However, i believe games new cd is a westcoast classic as well as a hip hop classic. Game spits with so much emotion, has became a better rapper, and made an album FOR THE WESTCOAST!! Though dre is missing from the album, hi tek, jr, khalil and scott storch did the majority and these guys are all aftermath/dre product.

This album surpasses the documentary easily, with the only complaint on this album being the over usage of Dres name....on songs like "da shit", "scream on em" and "one night" where he spits real and goes hard he is showing that he is on top of the game. November 14, 2006 is almost as big of a day for the westcoast as November 16, 1999. Game-you did it man.

5/5

Cant say I share that opinion. To tell you the thruth I have no intention of buying the record. Dont even think I will listen to it

I have not heard it yet. I do know that I have been listening to alot of older west coast albums that even the Documentary can't touch and alot of those albums are not considered classic.
