Training Day

How great is this movie? One of my favorite movies of all time. I think it's safe to say that it's without a doubt a classic. Denzel and Ethan Hawke both play their roles perfectly. I can't get enough of this movie. I was lookin through my DVD collection and watched it again. Anyone else agree that this movie is classic?

Most definatly a classic. Ethan Hawke did his thing, but Denzel was straight CRAZY in this movie. Definatly deserved the Best Actor Oscar. Can't speak enough on how good Denzel was. The dialouge was one of the best since Pulp Fiction. The setting the tone of the movie was all great.

The writer of Training Day is directing Harsh Times, another L.A film starring Christian Bale.  Denzel in Training Day is one of the best performances in this decade.  The only other perfomances that come to mind that are on the same level is Christian Bale in The Machinist or Daniel Day Lewis in Gangs of New York.
