« on: December 02, 2001, 09:28:10 AM »
What happend to these singles?  Follow-ups to these albums:

"Da Khop Shop"
1.  "Dollaz, Drank And Dank"
Any word on the what was the second single, if there was?

"X.O. Xperience"
1.  "Best You Can"
2.  "Run Wild"
3.  "My Dear"
Has anyone seen the video for "My Dear"?  I know it was shot.

"Space Boogie"
1.  "It's Over Now"
2.  "On, Onsite"?
Good choice for a single, but where is it!

"Dueces & Trays"
1.  "I Luv It"
What os the second single, is there one?

"Bones"
1.  "Dogg Named Snoop"
Doubt there will be another single

Any info?

I mean, after 3 months, artists usually drop their nex singles.  In 6 months, you could be done promoting the album.

One thing to consider is the amount videos cost to produce.  If a video costs hundreds of thousands of dollars, they better be confident that its going to generate hundreds of dollars of sales, you know?  Like if Snoop made another video for the Bones soundtrack, what are the odds that itd cause the album to sell another 200,000 copies or so...not likely-especially because its a soundtrack.  However, I think Snoop wouldve been wise to make another Eastsidaz video but thats just my opinion.

Wrong!!!
look at chronic2001, even when all the single were out the album was still selling, people had bought it cause of the grammys award i think , the album had fell off the top 100 n it was back in because of that so , what you're sayin is false  :-/

Dogg Named Snoop Was The Second Single On Bones, Actually... The Ballad Of Jimmy Bones Was The First Single, Even Though There Wasn't A Video.

It's All About Initial Sales Anymore, Nobody Cares About What Kind Of Life An Album's Gonna Have On The Charts Anymore, The Only Albums That Have Life After The Initial Stage Are Pop Acts And Mega Mega Star Hiphop Acts, Like Usher, DMX, Jay Z, Eminem, Etc.  And The Only Reason It Works With Them Is Because THEY'RE Pop Acts.  Snoop Ain't Pop Enough, So Snoop Don't Have A Chance Making Money Off #2 And #3 Singles.  Only Thing CLOSE Was Laylow, And I Don't Think It Helped Album Sales Very Much.

Look @ Somebody Like The Backstreet Boys Though, They'll Release A Single, Wait Until The Album Dies Down, Release Another, And Many Times The AlbumWill Rise Back To The Top Of The Charts, They Play Pop Music LIke a Yo Yo; Unless You've Got A Huge Audience, You Can't Do That With Hiphop.

"Space Boogie"
1.  "It's Over Now"
2.  "On, Onsite"?
Good choice for a single, but where is it!

by the way, the next single is not on onsite, its defnitely Sunshine. i know it was supposed to be on onsite but changed from what ive heard (although i heard they shot a vi for on onsite)

on onsite would be better IMO, but sunshine will help the album sales (more than on onsite). who cares though, they gonna show the video 2 times at 2 and 3 am in the morning
