Full Circle - Trash
« on: November 08, 2006, 04:15:12 AM »

I was looking round my local record store yesterday amazed to find that Xzibits new album was on sale. Not only was i suprised to find it in Britain (bieng an independent lp) but i couldnt belive that i found it FOR SALE, only £7!!!

However after listening to it 3-4 times i now understand why it was so cheap. This is undoubtedly Xzibits 2nd weakest album (after WOMD). Some tracks are amazin (Thank you, family values) but i just cant get with jelly rolls production, it anoys the hell outta me. I really hoped this would be classic, that x would prove himself and go back to his roots, unfortunately it just wasnt to be.

The whole album has cheap written all over it. Not really suprised when Kochs involved. This year allone weve had "Cali Iz active" "Firewater" "Thug Stories" and theve all been flops.

I liked "Scandalous Bitches", X did a real good job with the story telling. "On Bail" was pretty good too. X needs better production though. If not Dre then somebody close. Somebody give that nigga J.R.'s number.
