Dope track indeed, got that NY vibe. The whole cd is dope, peope still sleeping on it. Its much better than Hunger For More, especially the replay value.

Indeed. I was really shocked when I heard this. Its dark as fuck. Like you said HFM was more uptemo and he had a better flow but Rotten Apple overall, the vibe, the replay value, the whole sound of it sounds dope. Quite Mobb Deep influenced, their album had the same grimey vibe. Its so dark that a track like Hands Up fits great on the cd becuase its the only uptempo joint.
The whole album is very dark and grimey. Excluding Help and Addicted and a few others. Hunger For More was a little more uptempo but it had some lyrical gems on there. Some of Eminem's best production work was on Hunger For More. If I had to pick one I would probably pick his first one, but Rotten Apple is dope too. Few NY cats have that grimey, dark sound anymore like this.

"Help" also got some hard sounds in the beat which are dope.. only track that I really don't like on the album is "One Night Stand" which doesn't fit on the album at all... I think that one should've gotten replaced by "Life" with him and Spider Loc which was meant to be on it... that's a nice track too, one of the few Lloyd Banks hooks that are dope, and the whole flow of that track fits with the rest of the album.
