yo,i just wanna say what is up with all these rappers wanting to be in the acting game now. It seems like every major rapper has been in at least one movie or is soon to be in one, and they keep making more. And almost all of the time, they seem to basically play themselves, or a slightly different version of their thuggish selves. Its supposed to be acting, they need to play different roles. I give props to Ice Cube though, cause he can actually act, and he is in a lot of different kinds of movie like "Three Kings' and "Ananconda". I will admit, it is funny from time to time to see them as a cameo in a movie, but their lead roles in movies are kind of sad, i haven't seen all of the movies with rappers in it, but from the ones i've seen or heard about, they usually play that typical some kind of version of a thug role. Just wanted to see what everyone's opinion is on this topic.

The best rapper/actor is Ice Cube, no doubt. He made an Oscar performance in Boyz N The Hood. I really started to like gangsta rap AFTER this movie. So i gotta give props to him. Tupac wasnt just a rapper, he was everything. So he was tight as a rapper too. Other than those ones.... mmm.. LL Cool J made some cool movies. DMX sucks. Dre sucks. I dunno yet about Snoop Dogg, but i dont like him so much as a rapper.

yah u know they in it fah tha money. n if sum1 willin tah pay em, then fuk it...make dat money. but itz eventually gonna hurt they music career i think. look at cube, since he been into actin...he aint been puttin out music like befo. itz hard fah people tah listen to sum1 spittin gangsta shit....when they see em in moviez playin sumthin otha then a gangsta. i dont know why, but people cant seperate whas real n whas not i guess. oh, n im pretty sho tha reason they alwayz playin gangsta rolez...iz one of 2 thangz. one....they jus cant act all that well. or two....because producers dont want them tah play anything butta gangsta. but hey, eitha way....they makin tha skrill...witout doin no bitch shit....so fukit! lol

i think that rappers doin movies is good for their careers. it give them exposure so people know them. i think that ice cube needs to get bakc to doin music more cuz hes tight as a muthafucka. ive seen one movie that dr dre was in and that was his cameo in training day. he didnt have a big part but when he was on camera he was fuckin dope. i thought snoop in half baked was hilarious cuz he smoked all their weed. so im anticipatin the wash. gonna see it on friday. i dont like dmx that much but exit wounds was pretty good. i really dont like the no limit movies put out except im bout it. that was ok.
