I remember when this just came out.  Dopeness.  Haven't listened to it in awhile.  I should pop it in.

I've never heard that track and I don't think I've heard anything by Shade Sheist that I know of... and for all you that say where have you been.. how have you not heard him etc..  I live in ALASKA so I'm not exposed to all the good artists that are not huge commercial success.  That's why I love the internet and especially why I love DUBCNN.  This is the site that got me into loads of "underground" westcoast artists that I've never heard before.

I like "Wake Up" and "Cali Diseaz" about the same...

"Where I Wanna Be" doesn't even come close to those two, but it's a good track regardless... different feeling songs

Great track - I was bumping this at the weekend funnily enough.

Great track, always been a fan of it...in fact his whole debut was slept on, it was a decent release.

Decent? The album was really good. Shade was boring/monotone most of the time, but he still held it down. I wish him and Damizza would squash that beef, cuz they worked great together, and Shade was the face of the West for that short period of time.

the only time he will sound at his best is over tracks with lots of bass like Damizza's

the album was solid for sure, kinda gay in some areas but it has some classics on it

My favorite track on this album is Urban Gospel. So smooth.
Anyway, what happened to Shade Shiest?

I was stating decent in a positive light, not negative in any way, i was a big supporter of this when it dropped, it does sound a little dated as a whole already but still a good album - great summer time sound

I finally got this album off ebay a little while back for £3. I put it on and then i realised it was the edited version !
