The Old Days...(What Happened?)

I always wonder where all the OGs who started on this board from day one went?! This board isn't the same anymore...This board used to be sooo damn tight...I remember we had all the muthafuckin OG's from the Dre board on this board not too long ago...Now they don't bother posting or post once in a blue moon, and I think that really sucks...We lost some of the greatest members we've ever had, and now this board is gowing down the drain, like the DreBoard did in its last days (But I aint never leavin the board...I'm here to make it better). Ever since we added the Anything Goes board (The idea came from an OG who is no longer here), we started getting all these people who are here to talk about life rather than Hip Hop...I mean really, look how redicoulousely FULL that board is...This board was created for Hip Hop, not to discuss life, the fun stuff is just on the side, but we have members who go stright to the anything goes board, and rarely bother with the General board...I'm not knocking any of you newbies, I'm just dissapointed that most of my fellow OG's left...


What ever happened to regulars like:


Tanjint (This guy got to 700 posts before me, and now look at his post numbers)

Narrator (Ever since Overseer decided to banned him, he didnt feel welcomed and left)

Crem (A REAL Hip Hop Head)

Mouse (Another REAL Hip Hop Head)

B Please (Damn, he basically is the reason the board exists, and how many posts does he have?)

Mr Loc (What the hell is up with him leaving us without notifying us or nothing...This ones a big loss...)

Overseer (Shit, the guy who rules the board, doesnt post like the old days)

Sikotic (anyone remember his Bdogg187 days when he used to post every 5 minutes? Boy I wishe his name was still Bdogg, those were the good ol days, LoL)

Hambone (Anyone remember when he used to make at least ONE news thread a day?)

Hittman14484 (This guy was never really here, he mostly posted in the DreBoard days)

Oakland Raider (Anyone remember this guy?)
     
Engies (This guy used to post 100 times a day back in the Dre Board...I kinda miss the Engies VS Narrator beef...LoL)      


Shit, the list goes on and on...But you all understand what I'm getting at...I Just miss the old days...I mean sure, we still have a couple left who post as much as they used too, but damn, we lost more than we gained... I just wanna know what ever happened to all the OGs?

I know exactly what NIKs on about.. i don't post much anymore for 2 main reasons.

1) often it feels like when i do the new posters 'young bucks' try to beef with me coz i'm the authority figure.

2) topic's are here that have been covered a million times... i understand why new members would (and should) discuss this stuff.. but i've been through it all.. and only interject when shits way off course.

i wasnt around when every1 went to tha dre board,  i started postin here a few weeks after it opened but i dont think it will end up like tha dre boards b/c when you guys talk about tha dre board you talk about how eminem teenyboppers took over an that there was a lack of moderation,  those are two things we dont have here

I'm hardly an OG   But i've been here a couple o' months now & I feel comfortable enough   I feel what 'O' is saying, alot of topics reocure every now and again, thats one reason that i'm happy that we get mixed subjects of East/West/South Coast in threads. I've slowed down due to Uni & stuff. I think alot of ppl r also bogged down with skool work etc. When I first surfaced I used to post then come back online a couple o' hours later and the thread i've posted in would almost be on the second page! Now threads hardly move! I'm sure things will speed up again
