do you all think that in 20 years time, kids will be listening to pac like kids nowadays listen to pink floyd, led zepplin jimi hendrix whatever? or will rap just be corny in 20 years?
i'm thinkin rap is here to stay, like any other major genre..

Yeah man...rap isn't going anywhere. The direction it's heading though I fear for the future rap listeners.

I think are kids might not know who say ludacris is but they will def know who tupac, biggie, Dre, cube, Snoop, jay z is just as im sure theres a lot of rock bands in the 70s who had a good album or 2 we dont know but we do know the pink floyds, led zep, stones etc.

yea i think theyll think of it as classical by then if its still popular, which it hopefully will be. i know kids who think '96 is old school right now, so that era would definitely be considered 'classical' in 20 years.
