As of late, some of y'all been takin' that East Coast/ West Coast argument to higher grounds... The greatest rapper of all time, 2Pac, died sayin' he had a personal problem with Big and a couple of NY rappers but y'all so called "strictly West Coast fans" didn't hear him... Cube killed all his beef with NY after "Bow Down" but y'all still don't hear him... Snoop, the most celebrated rapper on this forum, drop a billion joints with NY rappers and what do I read? Threads about how Snoop is doin' too much and shit, coz he ain't doin', let's say, a Mac Mall collabo... Dre, the illest in his profession, shouts Jay-Z out and put 4 non-West Coast MC's in his "Top 5 dopest MC's ever" list, y'all go crazy, tryin' to EXPLAIN why he probably FORGOT to mention Ice Cube and Snoop... Plus, we now have cats complaining about the number of NAS threads... And I could go on forever, but I guess I'll stop here. It was a long time comin' but whoever posted that "interesting how y'all like East Coast" thread, really nailed it for me... THIS FORUM IS CALLED WEST COAST CONNECTION and I'll respect that... I thought I could be a NY cat and got enough love for hardcore gangsta rap to drop by, but there are too many ignorant lil kids on here, fighting an unecessary and stupid East Coast/ West Coast war I JUST CANNOT be involved with... So I'm steppin' out... And since it's "strictly West Coast love" right here, I guess y'all don't need my reviews of Pete Rock & Cl, Prodigy, Guru, LL, Scarface, AZ and Jigga. And since Rage's album is half East Coast lyricism, i guess y'all don't need that one either. Now, The Wash does feature Em, Busta, Bubba and Ox so I guess y'all don't want that review... Well, since you are gone i trust you will not read this man, so whatever i say will fall on deaf ears.  Anyway, fukk it, i like that people have different opinions to express; me, i am about half and half, i like east and west the same.  I understand that a lot of the peeps on here only care for West coast music, so i try to drop a little knowledge on some east coast shit and you should stay and do the same regardless.  Well, do what you gotta do, but if you actually liked posting on here, i have no idea why would leave.  Myself, i look at it like i could care less who doesn't like my posts and whatever, cuz i know i enlighten at least a few people, and i learn some shit while i am here too......PEACE

None of us here can argue with the name "West Coast Connection" but I don't see any signs saying "leave the East Coast releated topics at the door!". I love coming here 2 discuss West/South/East, whutever! This is one of the dopest 'Hip-Hop' (even if it says westcoast it still packs ALL coast related shiz) related place to come for news/reviews/exclusives etc.. This place wouldn't b as dope if it wasn't as open minded with it's topics. Shit, if we only had Westcoast to talk on i'm pretty sure this place wouldn't get as much hits, there'd b a re-occurance of the same topics every week! There's only so much strictly westcoast related shiz we can talk about! I am very westcoast biased when it comes to hip-hop but i'm not closed minded & I enjoy talking about & discussing hip-hop as a WHOLE, wether it b west/east/south.
