I don't think it's cool to have 4 girlfriends you are fucking, and most people against polygamy don't either. Go to any "player" in town and tell him you have 3 wives, you'll get more high fives than you will stern looks.

It's not natural for a man to have two women all to himself.  Women are not property.  They are souls and their soul is just as important as any man's soul.  When a man and a woman decide to commit to each other, often the man provides protection, money, shelter and the woman provides love, takes care of the home, teaches the children.  Men and women are completely different but equally valuable.

For you to think that 2 women are equal to 1 man shows the main fallacy of your religious studies.

Neither can.  Marriage is just a word with a meaning, you can't change the meaning of the word.  That would be like me trying to call having sex car.  Hi Honey, lets go get in the car.  She walks outside I stick a dick in her.

With that said I see no religious reasons why a man and another man can't get married.  Techincally speaking, if it's against religion for two men to get married, it would also be against religion for two non-religious people to get married.... but yet we let that happen no problems. 

I also think there's a difference between polygamy and homosexuality.  Polygamy has no equation of equality whereas homosexuality potentially does.

^^How hypocritical is it that this is coming from a Mormon (or one who used to be a Mormon and propagate the Church of Latter Day Saints on this forum).  The founder of Trauma's religion lived in America and had like 50 wives, they are still doing it to this day in Utah having like 30 or 40 wives.

And don't talk about nature and what is natural, check this out, if you put one man on an island with 99 women, you'd have 99 new babies every year and you'd know who the father is.  Yet, if you put one woman on an island with 99 men, you'd have 1 new baby each year and nobody would know who the father was.

The Qu'ran allows for a man to marry 1-4 women.  He's not forcing a woman to do anything.  There are some women who don't mind.    Some women even request it, I know this is hard for you to believe, but sometimes it is even requested.  Sometimes women can't get pregnant, or have other concerns, and they would rather their husband marry another woman then destroy the family alltogether in divorce. 

Also, some men can never be satisfied with just one woman.  It's a fact of human nature.  There are some men that are by nature polygamus, and some men who are by nature monogamous.  If a man who is by nature monogamous tries to be polygymus he'll screw it up every time, likewise, if a man who is by nature polygamus tries to be monogamus, then he'll screw it up every time. 

Look at President Clinton.  You really expect the most powerful man in the world to have to go to bed with that frozen cunt Hillary every night?  Meanwhile, leaders of Muslim countries have 4 wives and it doesn't damage their reputation at all and things run smoothly.  The women accept them in marriage and their family never worries about money the rest of their lives and many women love nothing more than to be married to powerful men.

So Islam understands the nature of man and leaves options open to him so that all his affairs can be put in order.  On the other hand, you find the Catholic church demanding celibacy from their priests (that's against human nature) and the results are often the molestation of alter boys.

Your argument is flawed.

It doesn't say in the Qur'an that men are allowed to have more than one wife because of "the nature of man"... that's your own assumption. The main reason for the permittance is due to the fact that there was a disproportionate amount of women who had nobody to take care of them (especially since many men died in war and battle)

If you want to talk about the nature of man, then wouldn't you agree that it is natural for man to feel the urge to satisfy his sexual desires? (THAT is a fact of human nature)... those are natural desires a man has... very different from consuming alcohol, taking drugs, etc... if it had to do with the nature of man, then why would pre-marital sex be considered a sin?

I didn't know that. In my religion (Christian Orthodox) the priest will not marry you if one of the two people is not Christian-Orthodox (obviously he also wouldn't if both aren't). You have to convert to the religion in order to marry with in it. I thought it was like that in all faiths

Now a legal marriage is different. The definition states man and woman, husband and wife. Now if the governemt wants to change the definition then by all means but until it does it'll still be man and woman for most people. Ofcourse then it opens the door for incest. I always wanted to go to pro same sex marraige rally with sings protesting for the legalization of incestual marriages and under age marriages, just to get a kick out of the crowd. Something like "THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT TO TELL ME I CAN'T MARRY MY MOTHER, OR TEENAGE SON"
