Snoop Dogg - Real One (from BCT Mixtape)

This song is dope as hell to me...this beat is GREAT. The hook is decent, nothin standout, but the song is still dope as hell.

It just makes me wonder why....Snoop does this more than any other artist in history....he'll drop great tracks that will end up bein unreleased, and many won't make the album for NON-SAMPLE RELATED ISSUES...but they'll easily be better than songs from the album, with some having potential to be a top 5 song on the album. He has had some great ones that couldn't make it because of samples, such as "When I wake up" and of course "Next Episode"...but the mixtapes and advance versions of Da Last Meal, Paid Da Cost especially, and this lastest album have had way too many dope songs that didn't make it.

I guess it is dope because the true fans will have access to these songs that the general public will have never heard...and for those like me, we'll bring these songs out 5-6 years later, and people will be like "damn that is dope!! Is that gonna be on Snoop's next CD???" and we're like "LOL nah...he made that back in 2001, it just never came out."

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Snoop always has the best leftovers. Actually this is the deal with most artists who came from the Death Row Era. It seems like thats just how they function.

Yeah 4 real though...and the thing is, it doesn't even hurt them much to leave these songs off, because they still sell.

and you're right, the song is dopeness.  Theres a few bangers on the Blue Carpet Mixtape that didnt make the album.
