Suga Free- The New Testament
« on: November 28, 2006, 08:38:59 AM »
I was over at my local Tower Records for the liquidation sale (rap cds 70% off!) and I picked up Suga Free's 2nd album The Last Testament. I have his first one and Just Add Water but I never picked this one up. Is it any good?

It's definetly way better than "Just Add Water" and it's a real good follow up to the debut album..Most artist second albums are garbage, but Free did his thang...There are only like 2 maybe 3 traccs off the album I wasn't feeling like "You Just Won't Stop Talkin'" & "She Get What She Pay Foe", but the rest is on point.

LOL...U Mad? Fag

Thanks for the feedback. I am about half way through it and it's all good so far. The beats are nice on here. Cool album to put in your ride and cruise to. Born Again is my favorite so far.

Man, this is my favorite Suga Free album. Alittle more upbeat then Street Gospel.

Finished bumping it and I am lovin this album. Melodic is the first word that comes to mind. Suga ain't no lyricist but his pimp game with the raps is like no other. Thanks for the advice fellas.

man that DOES make him a lyricist. who else spits raps with the same delivery and content he does.

Yeah I guess you could look at it that way. He spits about what he knows and that is pimpin and hustlin. You are not going to get much else out of him but I like it that way. It serves its purpose for me. Just some good west coast pimp shit.
