Hey Yall;

Look For The Wash To Slide Down To About #36 Or So On Next Week's Billboard Chart, Damn.  Michael Jackson's Album (The Only Other One On The Chart I Care About, LOL) Is Sitting Strong At #4.  Garth Brooks Debuted At #1 With 440,000 Or So Copies Sold, Britney Spears Has #2 This Week With 250,000 Or So, Shakira Edged In With 230,000 Or So, And M.J. Held Strong With about 225,000.  Madonna's Greatest Hits Debuted At Like 7 Or Something.

Peace

Not that it matters TRAUMA, but i read that the top 4 sales go like this:
Garth=472,000
Britney=336,000
Shakira=206,000
Michael 178,000

No big deal-if ya wanna slant the numbers to favor Michael you have my blessing, big guy.

He's Retired 3 Times.  He Retired Last Year Because He Was Pissed The Beatles "#1" came Out, And Messed Up His Alltime Sales Record; He At 1 Time Was Very Close To Outselling The Beatles, Then They Released That Record And It Killed His Chances.

Peace

Anyway..... if you'll allow me to talk about the music for a second... a little off subject I know.......

Anyway... the music industry seems to be dying.  I was reading an article in Rolling Stone that said that since September 11th sales have dropped 6%.  And that this is the first serious sales decline they've experienced in a DECADE.  RAP IS DOWN 14%.  Ya'll, if you ask me internet piracy, downloading music for free, is seriously damaging the music industry.  Hip-hop will always be a successful sub-culture, but I'm a little worried when albums like "The Wash" are struggling to go gold.  Peace

Ohh, but there is some good news.  They say the pop scene, Backstreet Boys, Britney, NSync is declining, and that groups like 98 degrees and Mandy Moore are becoming extinct.

More bad news is that so-called 'violent' music isn't selling well.  This is bad because MTV is not open to playing video's like D-12's Fight Music.  Look for rock music to blow up again unfortunetely.  peace.

Yeah, I Think So Too.  For Some Reason, Hiphop Gets Ripped The Most, And Bootlegged The Most.  People Don't Get Online To Download The Latest Britney Spears Album, They Go Buy It, For Some Reason.  Hiphop And R&B Get Bootlegged All To Hell, Though, I Don't Understand Why That Is.  When I Go To The Flea Market, That's All They Ever Have Is Hiphop & R&B Albums, They Never Have Pop Or Rock Or Country Albums Bootlegged.

Yall Think There's A Racial Connection? I'm Not Sure... For Some Reason, It Seems White People Don't Sell The Albums At My Flea Market, And They'd Probably (In My Opinion) Be The ones More Apt To Bootleg Pop And Rock And Country Albums.  There's About 5 Black Guys Up There, In A Predominantly White Flea Market, And They're All Bootlegging Hiphop And R&B Albums.  That's Kinda Natural, Because They Probably Aren't Interested In Country Or Rock Or Pop Albums; But I Don't Know Why There Aren't Many White People Up There Bootlegging Albums, Ya Know?  White People Do Some Shady Stuff Too, I Mean, I Sell Fake Rolexes Up There, And I'm White.  Maybe That's A Market I Need To Get into, Selling Country Bootlegs At The Flea Market, LOL.

Anyways, My Question Is How Come "White" Music Doesn't Get Boootlegged?

Peace
