I have had this song for about six years. What album or project was it intended for? It's still dope as hell to me...typical 97 - early 2000's Battlecat style, and it samples "Joy and pain."

It's the Eastsiderz (a group originally formed by Crooked I, Lil C-Style & Techniec) featuring Snoop Dogg.
The track was in the "Ride" OST released in 1998.

The original Tha Eastsidaz was a group that consisted of Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tray Dee, and Daz Dillinger.  Techniec and Badazz were the LBC Crew.

nah These were also the Original Eastsiderz this what after the LBC Crew era, and this song is from the "RIDE" soundtrack, Snoop also make a cameo
