Way 2 Fonky and Safe + Sound are my fav Quik albums especially Safe + Sound, I got it the minute it came out that spring of '95... Classic West Coast album!! 
At one particular club they bumped Get At Me all through the summer of that year, speaking of which... wasn't that a diss song directed towards AMG?

Yes, it was aimed at AMG. I loved how he flipped the Cameo sample on that song, then threw in the scratches in the hook, while scratching the other sample in an out. Fuckin bonkers, plus it bumps crazy in the system. One of my boys back then got the Safe and Sound cd back when it dropped and he put it in his system and that shit shook the whole car. I damn near shitted on myself. That's an amazing song.

I never really liked DJ Quik until I borrowed my friends Rhythmalism CD.  After that I was hooked.  I bought every album since including past ones after that.
