Too Short Knew Talent!!!!
« on: December 10, 2006, 11:12:32 AM »
This man put Spice 1, Ant Banks, Poohman, Goldy, Ant Diddley Dog & Rappin' Ron, even Baby D in the game....And all these dudes were talented as fuck! Short didnt even care if these dudes would kill their guest spots on his album! as long as they shined! its too bad most of them only came out with one album..

nice thread mang!   8)

yea man, he blew the doors open for the whole bay!  not just oakland, but rappin 4tay was featured on LIFE IS...if im not mistaken.  the whole dangerous crew was fucken fire man.  Goldy with his flow, the ability to rym words fast and slow.  Bad-N-Fluenze, was just 2 street niggaz that murderd the lyrics/and flows was tight.  father dom was good too on guest spots, but that one tape he had dissapointed me.  and spice 1... is self explanatory.

too bad he moved to the ATL, and is messin with those weak niggaz jon/jazzy, imo, he would have been the Dre of the bay.  not makin much music, but the ability to pick out so much potential.  come back Bank$!   :'(

Beeeeeeeeyaatch!!!!!   8)

Pick up 2 gats like Riley with a full 16 clip, on some sick shit like Lynch, while rippin a bitch's clit with beyonce's mouth on the tip of my dick.

Dangerous Crew Beeyatch!

you know goldy has 3 albums?

There was alot of good rappers that came up with Too Short, especially Rappin Ron & Ant Diddley Dog, shame they didnt come out with anything else.

We need to start a petition to move Short back to the bay and start making music with Banks again.  He needs to have a Dangerous Crew reunion and bring in some of the younger bay artists on his album.  IMO that crap he's putting out with Lil Jon is just crap... it's not Too Short style music.

Let's not forget Lil Jon. Short was the only guy that gave him spots on his album and used his beats on his album then he became this super producer.

His first album was under the name Mhisani in 1991, it featured Richie Rich, im not sure who produced it, but it sounds old school.

His 3rd album was The Golden Rules in 1998, its produced by Black Hornet Productions, Ruff Knight Productions and Gruvlyne. I haven't listened to it for a while, but its funky.

I think In The Land Of Funk is his best album. The other two are good though.
