Ok- Here is a mini-review of the movie:

If you like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, you should love this movie. Most critics are gonna judge this movie like its looking to win an Oscar, (Its not) and most movie critics don’t know shit about rap, so I say FUCK them.


If I had to judge this movie on a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 7.5 out of 10. It had its funny parts, but it was nowhere near what I was expecting. I went into the theater looking for another Friday. I got something that wasn't quite on that level, but it was still pretty decent. The pacing of the movie was a little slow at times, and the acting wasn’t the greatest, but I still had a good time at this movie. If Dre works on his acting, I can really see him in other movies. He was stiff at times, but overall his performance was pretty solid. Snoop played his character to death! It was some funny ass shit. I was let down by his performance in bones, but this role was more up his alley, and he played it really well. Dj Pooh was by far the funniest character in the movie. I won't give the funny parts away, but he is one stupid motherfucker. The other actors are whom I had problems with. I really wasn’t feeling George Wallace all that much. He did his character OK, but he could have made it MUCH better. Some of the other no-name actors in this movie really take away from the good job that Snoop and Dre did on their parts. It seems like they didn’t even take the time to read their parts, and they played their characters lazily. Ludacris makes a cameo, so does Shaq, so does Pauly Shore and Kurupt also pop's up. These cameos are kind of funny, so look for them when you see them. The soundtrack was also pretty dope. They played "On the Blvd" to death tho... It felt like every 10 scenes or so, they would have it playing in the background. *POSSILBE SPOLIER* There was also a part when the Wash Register girl was watching 106 and park and a truth hurts video came on... They didn’t show any video, but perhaps it could be dropping a hint that it might have one in the future? *END SPOLIER* I don’t know... There was also a part where they used that new Mack 10 songs instrumental. It sounded kind of rough, and it made me think that maybe Mack 10 saw this movie, and purchased that beat from dre.... Who knows... All in all, everybody on this board should love this movie. Don’t Go to it expecting a Oscar winning performance, just go to it expecting to have a good time...
