Someone find out her real age, in the paper they claimed (The Sun UK Readers) she was 40+, but she doesn't look it and I can't find on google how old she is.

wikipedia says she's 31 years old.

the last 3 songs i've heard from her she has been rapping. So i considered her a rapper/singer. I don't own her album so i don't know if she sings on the rest.. But her music is identical to Missy Elliot and JJ Fad. Infact her current single "Fergielicious" has very similar flow to JJ Fad's "Supersonic".  Her current album is executive produced by Will.I.Am who also handles most of the production.

For the guy who mentioned Jessica Simpson.. I guess you can make that argument if Jessica Simpson actually rapped on her album. I havent heard any tracks from her that has her rapping.. So maybe you can enlighten us.

In my opinion, i don't see anything different between D4L, Missy Elliot and Fergie. They are not on the level of 2pac, Biggie, Common, Nas or even 50 in their lyrical content, however they all rap and harmonize in their music..

I think this is a good discussion. Keep it going :)

its hard to ignore her when both of her songs are in heavy rotation on BOTH hip hop stations in Houston.. They are higher in rotation than the Game's singles..

Someone asked about her age and i went to wikipedia.. its not hard when you have high speed internet homie.. i suggest you get it. :)

Nigga get to know i'm on broadband, yes i did ask for her age, not her life story though >_>. True you can't ignore her, she's probably big where you from and all, but I still ain't feeling her vibes. Meh that's just my opinion. She might get higher rotation, but these days down here stupid ass groups always get more bumpin' then what i'm into. She could be considered from the west, but I ain't feeling her raps or anything.

If fernie is from the West then we definitely must define what "being from the west" mean

Does that mean someone that's "coming from THE WESTCOAST part of the K.K.K" or does that mean she can be compared/associated to Dre,Snoop  as far as sells or impact are concerned"

if you ask me she's NOT "the 2nd proposition"..not "westcoast" in that way....nope i'm affraid not
