Put your Money Up or Stop Bitchin!!!!

As we all know music trends come and go , With the beginning and rise of rap on the East Coast , to it coming out West and getting G'd up, the only constant of what music has had to offer is that what's hot for the moment is not gonna be hot forever . As my personal experiences has shown me , I lived the rise of Death Row . I seen the power of unity thru music on my home soil. Although I was young , I felt apart if that . The Westcoast was untouchable at that point in time , If it wasn't west , it wasn't right!! How do we still so much shine that the one and only Jay-Z has to say " too much Westcoast dick lickin" ? We had the whole world in our palm and wanting to be down. How did we do that , do u ask? Well it first comes love for the music . If the music is something you can see when you step outside you are able to make that personal connection with what the lyrics. Once that personal connection is made with the lyrics, then you now make a personal connection with the person saying them. Who didn't love Snoop for being Snoop , He seemed like he could be everyones big homie to me , and for older dudes a lil homie . We loved him for that and because we did we supported everything affiliated with him.
Back in the day , Tape dubbing was going on , but not to the extent I think that CD burning is going on today. Im not talking about mixtapes , I fully believe mixtapes should be burned and passed out as much as possible, but Im talkin about albums . The music industry thrives on the money generated from the artist , the artist makes his money thru the people . I've always believed real life , influences real music , If these corporate people keep seeing less and less money from the artist they put out , although everyone in the streets has the album its not reflecting real life , so they move on to the clown ass muafuckas that sell units to all the corny bastards that buy every Cd that comes out .
What does all this have to do with the West ? We have a real opportunity to bring the game back to us . Relying Heavily on "The Game" We have an international artist right now who has alot of influence and I don't think we are supporting him like we should . I just look at how many people alone live in LA , then LA county , then all of southern California ,and a local artist should be sellin a million units first week off top . If your reading this , obviously , u aint that broke , u have an internet connection and a computer . What's so hard about investing in a movement ? Regardless if you like the Game as a person , U should respect the fact that he is the first Westcoast artist to Make major moves East to West . If we let him come and fizzle out without getting behind someone already doin it rather then thinkin , your homeboy or you are the Saviors of this shit, U aint gonna have a chance if we let this opportunity pass us by . I just think The stars are aligned for us to run the industry , we just need to put our money behind it , rather then keep downloading shit and lettin the "Suit and Tie" muafuckas not know how we really feel. You could totally disagree with me right now , but Its the same shit , put your money up and support your artist . Or don't complain that shit comes and goes and it was the hottest shit ever . If you think that you need to tell people . Be a buying advocate , I hate when people show me burned shit , and say this is there favorite artist , that shit makes me sick !!!! I say shut the Fuck up Don't talk to me till you buy it. I aint nobody , but I feel like I have to say this so I don't feel apart of the dumb ass album title " hip hop is dead" Thats a ignorant ass statement that I want no part of!!!!

I support those who I want to support although I actually burn more then I download. An example would be tho I downloaded hip hop is dead but bought blue carpet treatment. I don't like game though so I'm not givin him 10 dollars of my hard earned cash.

if yall claim to love hip hop and the west coast sound support the material worth buying ....if you dl a album and is dope go buy it ......and if you dl a wack album pass it around ....lol.....jk

dude's saying we've no right to bitch that the west coast gets no love from source, mtv, radio etc. if we're not buying the west coast artists that have a chance to change that. and dude is right.
