Yup I swear dats wat he said..........I read it in a magazine before Marshall Mathers LP came out............He said he had planned out his whole career, he said he's gonna concentrate on Shady Records and be more behind tha scenes like dre and stuff........He said after his third solo he is strictly gonna concentrate on tha Detroit underground scene and make his Shady Records expand........

I doubt it will actually be his last solo, hella artists say shit like dat and come back wit follow up solos (ie, Master p, Jay z)...........But Im sure his third solo will defenitly be his last 4 a looooooong time, So it's prolly gonna be fuckin straight CLASSIC outta tha gate.

Jake, Proof said that it in an interview about a year ago, it was when Em was all caught up in legal bullshit, they didn't mean it.

i seriously doubt eminem is going to quit after his third album

puffy said he'd quit after No Way Out
Dre said He'd quit after The Chronic
Cube Said He'd quit after lethal injection
Jay-z kept hinting he'd quit after every album
master p said he'd quit after da last don

then in rock....omg it's even worse

trust me as big as eminem is and with all these cats challenging him and pissing him off and all this shit he needs to get off his chest, it wouldn't suprise me if he released 10 albums after this all in the same year

I see this album being like Tha Doggfather... it's not going to be a Doggystyle (or MMLP) but it's going to show a lot more strength in it.

Lyrical_G:Lyrics are good, and some beats are nice, done by Denaun Porter/Kon Artis. If you ever see it, buy it, it's like spacedust(dirty and insubstansial? lol).

NIK: A while back, on that Infinite thread someone made(I think it mighta been me)you asked me for one of my Infinite tapes(I've copied it like 10 times). I said email me your address and shit, you never did...Oh well, I guess.

"The Slim Shady LP," "The Marshall Mathers LP" & "Devil's Night" are very similar.  Eminem has to break away from the same intros, Steve Berman skits etc on his thrid album.  Dre will not make a 'B Please III'...he hates doing remixes and sequels.  I won't be surprised if Eminem co-produces with Dre for man if not all of Dre's tracks.  Maybe Dre & Eminem will be both executive produce it.

I think if Em set aside 1 or 2 songs for some guest production or artists like, Busta Rhymes and Alchemist, it would be ill.

Fo Em's 3rd album I would like to see him take a more serious approach to things I mean:

SSLP - That was just like a fun album and wasn't meant to be a serious album

MMLP - This was sorta half and half. I mean he done some deep tracks on this but also some fun tracks i.e Real Slim Shady

Devil's Night - This was sorta a more fun album than it was seriousness or deep. They have got some tight songs on it but again Purple Pills. I mean do they have to keep releasing pop beats to make the album sell.

If Em takes a serious appraoch and slams deep songs on his 3rd album then it could go classic and be his best album ever. I like Em when he leaves the pop side alone. Way I Am, Stan, Just Don't Give A Fuck, Still Don't Give A Fuck, Shit On You etc. they are all good if not great songs that Em should do more. He should quit dropping 1/2 pop shit on his albums and should just stay away form it all 2gether. If he is that damn good then his album will sell but I mean he loses respect when he got loads of Teenie boppers copping his albums. Em is great when it come to serious songs and I hope he can stick to this and throw a few decent rappers on his album. If he were to do a funny track he should do it with Bizarre cos nobdy take him serious so they know Em just doing it for fun.

No disrespect dog, but I kind of like the continuity in his records.  I like how the skits follow a story line.  Or how "Criminal" picked up where "Still Just Don't Give A Fuck" left off.  That's the shit to me.

Yeah, but it got kinda old on "Devil's Night"...how farther could Em take "Public Service Announcment" for example?  Still, I think Steve Berman could be funny depending on the content for Slim's next LP.
