the process of creating a DRE track

My 3 favorite albums are: Chronic 1 & 2001, and Doggystyle.
I love them because the whole album flows together.  It's not just a collection of songs put together, it is like a movie on wax.  These are the only three albums that I know of that do this.  This is also why dre has so many leftovers.  I mean, "Hello" is a better song than "Murder Inc" but, it wouldn't have fit on the album.  It would break the flow.  I have always thought this about these 3 albums.

I don't see how Murder Inc fits any better than Hello would have, except that Murder inc is one of the worst songs in the worst section of the album and Hello would stand out cuz it is too good!  I don't think 2001 flowed that nicely, although it is very dope.  I think the three albums that flow the best are Doggystyle, The Chronic, and Regulate.     Peace

From the beginning till about "Let's Get High" the album is on a roll.  The the album goes downward a bit interms of flow.  The end isn't as strong as the beginning.

thanks for the compliments. i wanted to give everyone an indepth look at dre's process and the fact that he truly "composes" all of his songs. in the future i am sure you will hear artists come forward and tell people exactly what i described on this thread. i really want people to see this post so i am bumping it up with a response, so people can catch it this weekend if they missed it.

Dre's said before he doesn't pay attention to all the bull-shit.  He won't waste his time dissing those types of people.
