Mack 10 And Dre Connect.  Really?
« on: November 10, 2001, 11:50:29 AM »
Whats your take on this connection?  Everyone looks forward to Dre's production but this one just doesn't seem to fit.

In my opinion, even a Dre production can't save Wack 10 from being WACK.  Im just curious to know what everyone else thinks of this colab.  I truthfully can not figure out why Dre would even work with Mack 10 in the first place.  This single got leaked on IRC and thank god it includes an instrumental!

Dogg I don't know what song you're talkin' about.  Can you hit me up with it and the instrumental, or at least tell me where to find it?  Thanks.

It was smart for Mack 10 to get a Dre produced single.  Peeps will falls head over heals for it.  But I think once he gets us to buy the actual album, we'll see that it is weak past the Dre track(s).

Totally unfair statement.  Mac-10 has said time and time again that Mannie Fresh has changed up his beats specifically for Mac-10.  And Im sorry-but Mannie is dope (IMO of course).  Also-Mac-10 has a LOT to prove after the nay-sayers have been giving him a hard time for going to Cash Money.  I really DOUBT this CD will disappoint.  We will see though--but please--dont judge it till we hear it.

Well come on...We didn't here anything about Dre being invovled intil he joined CM.  Then when he got bogged down with criticism, he went our for the best.  Now if this is all Mannie Fresh and just 2 or 3 Dre tracks I'll laugh.  Cause then Mack 10 would be doing it to get his ass saved from people like us who have been callin him Wack 10.

Who ya gonna call...Dr. D-R-E

yea i was surpised by this collabo. To be honest i think mack dime is washed up, his best days were back in 95-97. some of his new shit has been tight, but on the whole hes a lazy artist these days, and someone i would of thought Dre wouldnt fuck with.

i guess its all about the money - but at $250,000 a track for Dre, i think broke ass mack 10 will be owing crapmoney records a few more albums unless the cd sells very well.
