I would love a combination of dope beats and lyrics, but that doesnt happen to often with underground acts.

::)

DAM DAM DAM
THERES AS MUCH (IF NOT MORE)
BULLSHIT MUSIC
(ESPECIALLY NOWADAYS)
N UNDERGROUND AS MAINSTREAM
AND/OR ESTABLISHED ACTS....
I THINK IN THE LAST 4 YEARS RAP
AS A WHOLE HAS GONE DOWN.....
QUALITY CONTROL ISNT AS MUCH AN ISSUE ANYMORE......
UNDERGROUND AND MAINSTREAM
HAVE A WHOLE BUNCHA BULLSHIT
AND IT COMES FROM OVER SATURATION
OF PEOPLE TRYN ARAP NOWADAYS!!!!

But 2 answer the question MR LOC.....

i dont really listen 2 radio.....
cuz they hardly play anything worth listening 2
(especially n VEGAS)
and if they do they hardly play it
or play it so much 2 where i dont like it anymore.....
I happen 2 peep radio every now & then....
but most of my newfound music comes from
street promotion...wether it be people i dont know
that hit me up and gimme a flyer or a snippet tape
or people i know havin the CD and be around me....
or juss tellin em bout
a lot of shit i hear bout is also on the net....
i read SOURCE, MURDER DOG & XXL magazines sumtimes
2 keep on top of shit that most of the time i could give a fuk
bout mostly but juss 2 stay on top of whats goin on
with the "other side" cuz as if anybody didnt know it by now
most of my shit is underground independentr labels
that not everybodys chekin 4....i see videos sumtimes...
and again i mostly dont like what i see....
I still give people a chance beyond hearing 1 or 2 singles
but JUSS GOOD MUSIC.....underground or above.....
wait till i drop a megaton on yall!
like the homies GAME INSANE say
Imma "SHOK BLOX" with what imma give u.....

With me, I basically go by word of mouth first, ask people if it's good. Like when Top Dogg drop, or unknowns like Mr. Short Khop. Then I listen to it. You see, I have little money, so I ain't gonna waste my money supporting an artist just so I can listen to the disc once, and then store it. You gotta come correct, I mean pumping as hell. As of late, newer sounds are not impressing me as much, as it all sounds either like the new wave of more electronical instramentals, or it's a played out old style, like G-Funk/gangsta rap wannabe. I ain't wasting my money, if the artist is good, you better come correct. And I ain't talking about good lyrics or production, I'm talking about both together. Blueprint, waste of money 'cause no lyrics. Tight as hell production though. The Master, Rakim, almost if it wasn't Rakim. Tight as hell lyrics, horrible prodution. New or old artist better come with both. I'm almost to the point of only if the next Chronic 2001 that I'll buy it. almost.
