What does everyone think of Scrubs Series 6 so far?

i think the new style of this season has been awesome, i remember a while back before this season aired zach braff was talking about it and he was saying the new season has a more stoner type of humor and a bit more dark, and I didn't really know what he was talking about until I actually saw the episodes.

I dont like the 6th season at all. Its like they had to choices: go the Friends way and let the characters grow or go the Seinfeld way and stay crazy like they were.

They picked the Friends option 

Its just too serious, not enough Ted, Todd, Janitor, Coxs speaches....

Havent been able to watch a single episode of season 6 (a side from some YouTube clips) because of work. I didn't like how season 5 ended cause like Detox is coming said, they are taking the Friends route.

What are you talking about?? yeah sure its getting a little different, with the kids and all, but to serious?? JD found out about his baby, and it took him like a day to get over it and go on with his life.. On other shows they would have stretched that storyline and probably made it very depressing..
If it's anything, it's IMO that the goofiness has gotten out of control most of this season (and the last as well).. Many of the weird things that we are used to see in JD's mind are now mostly made to be "real".. so the stories have become way to crazy sometimes and some of the jokes aren't as great as they used to be..
They just need to get the old flow of the episodes back again and make it matter more about a nutty guy in the hospital, then about all the jokes (all the time).. seriously I remember the first 3 seasons when you actually cared about the whole hospital theme and their problems there, instead of it just being a show about how many outrages stuff they can put in in 25 min. (example: last episode when JD was taped by Ted and Tod.. I love those two guys, and want to see more of them, but it just seemed way unrealistic and would have been one of JD's fantasies back in the first three-four seasons)..

And one more thing: Yeah seinfeld was a great show, but it had its small problems as well (season 8-9..??)

Props to Detox is not not coming... and yishay for the links. Still enjoyable, but still the least funny of all the seasons.

I think that 609 and 610 were both great but 611 was again horrible. Its one thing to make a flashback episode, which can pretty much tell you that theyre running out of ideas (I did like it when JD said that too though) but its another thing that the rest of the "nonflashback" parts were horrible. I was really happy to see that Cox got that soldier haircut back but his punchlines were ehh.

I think the main problem is that 6 season is all about JD, Turk, Carla and Elliot. Todd, Tedd, Janitor, Kelso, Doug... and even Cox are unnotecable. The show is just not that dynamic anymore.
