i saw this shit, nothin really big but its still dope, i would be pissed with dre kinda, hittman kinda seems fed up, or i would be atleast, dre should stop fuckin around and focus on this guy

well i wanted to make a few comments about those interviews since it is something that hits close to home. hittman did and said the right things. i know hitt is frustrated so i have no problem with him saying that eventually he might have to reevaluate his options. i'm confident hitt will hang in there are his album will be released within the next year. the fact is that this interview is in a public forum and i know dre will be disappointed with some of the things ben said. he showed a lack of respect of rakim and truth hurts. he disrespected rakim by saying people want hittman over rakim. yeah right. some younger cats want to see hitt first because they don't know about or appreciate rakims legend and talent. but everyone else wants to hear rakim, who has a track record much stronger than hitt. fortunately hitt redeemed ben by mentioning rakims incredible verse on the watcher remix. the disrespect for truth came when ben said no one knows who she was except for industry insiders and for that reason she should not be released anytime soon. i got news for him, cause if dre didn't give hitt a chance to shine on 2001 no one would know who hittman was. if dre didn't do with hitt what he is doing with truth hittman would still be so underground right now he might run into bin laden. the fact is hitt will have a hard time selling WITH dre. without dre i guarantee hitt won't sell anything. hitt knows this and ben knows this. thats why hitt is patiently waiting his turn as having some dre production and involvement with the project will help him when the record does get released. this is no disrespect to hitt as hitt is a major talent no matter who is working with him. i'll quit on this point cause i mentioned it on my future of aftermath/hittman post.
as far as the mel man interview he has been friends with the guys at tha formula for a while now. this interview has been planned for a year, it just kept getting put off. don't expect any huge news from mel. for one i've already told you the vast majority of news and insights, just like i did with hittman. there will be a couple of other tidbits and perspective from mel as he is a big part of aftermaths future and every day happenings. the interview will touch on a couple of mels own projects and plans. hopefully tha formula prints the questions where mel talks about his background. mel is too humble and quiet to talk about himself. let alone brag. but he did answer some questions which will help you get you know him better. so i hope they put those in the online interview. he is such a good and caring person. hes more worried about others than he is himself. and just like me he will not say anything that will betray his trust with dre. mel is also very loyal. when every other producer bailed out he stuck with dre and reaped the rewards for his loyalty and trust. and no ben baller is not the reason mel man stayed. mel stayed because he wanted to. mel's character and heart is the reason he stayed. mel doesn't talk much because he lets his music and his talent speak for himself. millions of motherfuckers talk about how good they are but only a select few actually keep their mouth shut and let the results of their hard work speak for them. he's given you only a small taste of his talent. in the next few years everyone will realize how fuckin good this guy is.

i think Hittman SHOULD stay underground because thats where his fan base is. Like i said to someone recently, i would put money on it that half the people that bought Dre 2001 wouldnt know the name Hittman if you asked them right now. only people that got love for him is west coast fans and/or underground heads.

he should go independent and just get a few Dre beats for his shit like Knoc-Turnal is doing. If he's waiting to be the next Snoop/Eminem OR if hes waiting for Dre to put out an album that wont go platinum, he's gonna keep on waiting.
