Calling Out Names-Kurupt

I feel this track is underrated as far as diss tracks go, it doesn't get mentioned as one of the best, but Kurupt ripped that shit and the Fred Wreck beat is :o

I thought the track was overrated. Really just alot of shit talking and clowning. Kind of like Hitemup. But overrated in the sense that it really did not "ether" any of the artists he was dissing. Still a hard ass diss track though.

I would say only behind Daz, Kurupt and Fred Wreck make some classic shit together. The beat really set the tone for that track.

I agree, beat is hard though. There have been much better diss tracks made though.

He was at one time, but Nas said some slick shit when Kurupt was dating Foxy Brown basically saying he did not like the fact she was dating a gangsta. So Kurupt dissed him on It's A Set Up. But they collaborated together on Don't Stop a while back but I don't know now.

It is one of the hardest tracks, but not one of the best. It was very catchy, his delivery was on point times two, and the beat was hard as hell. He definitely didn't kill anybody lyrically...but in L.A. at the time, nobody cared...we were just hyped at the fact that he dissed em and had that much fire in his voice.

LMAO at DMX gettin back at him though....."I love my baby momma, I'll never let her go!!!"

Are you crazy..this shit is fire.......

didn't 'Ether' none of the artists dissed...man......Ether is overated.........I like this better...

One of the only diss songs that you love, not just because it's a diss, but it's also a dope track...

Thats some lyracism in that track, that you don't hear from no one (the style I mean)....Probably a freestyle too maybe?

Anywyas, this was the beginning of Fredwreck/DPG....Kurupt and Fredwreck work really well together....Shit, I heard Fredwreck is doing a lot of work for Kurupts solo, and with Kurupt bringing himself out of the slump (As of late), can't wait for his album!!!

I never said the song was not dope, because it is. I said it was more shit talking on the song. I was not like a Ether or Takeover where Kurupt broke down the beef and crushed them. This song was more on shit talking and why X and Rule are bitches and fuck them, etc. I aint 1 minded, I just said the track as far as a diss is overrated.
