So who picked up 15 Years on Death Row?
« on: December 28, 2006, 08:53:26 PM »
i got this at best buy today for 14.99, and supposedly it has some best buy exclusive tracks but only the 2nd disc has the 2 bonus tracks, while the first cd is missing like 4 bonus best buy tracks that are supposed to be on there. seriously, wtf!!! i was pissed, but overall it's still a good definitive collection of death row. i wish i knew about this shit before i bought Very Best Of Death Row lol. anyway, any word on the fucked up best buy editions? they gotta reimburse us for this shit! telling us there's best buy exclusive tracks, they lied! haha.

discuss.

I also bought the Death Row 15 Year 2CD/DVD from Best Buy and from what people are saying Disc One has no bonus tracks and Disc Two has 2 bonus tracks.  I went to another Best Buy that's some distance away from the one where I originally bought the Death Row 15 Year 2CD/DVD.  I had the girl at the return/exchange counter check 2 of them for me and both did not have the bonus tracks on Disc One. I was going to try a couple more Best Buy's but with the big lines for returns/exchanges I figured it would be a waste of time.  My guess is most if not all of them do not have the bonus tracks on Disc One.  While I already have the bonus tracks on Disc One it is disappointing to not get what is clearly labeled on the packaging and it doesn't seem that Best Buy and/or Koch plan on taking care of the error.  peace!

I guess they fucked up the pressings of these. I read that if you go buy the album from somewhere besides Best Buy that isn't supposed to have the bonus tracks, it actually has the bonus tracks on both cd's.

 ???

I saw threads like this on other forums too. You guys do realize every one of the tracks on this is released, right? not only that but these bonus tracks, you realize those too are all officially released as well? And I don't mean radio promo, japan edition released I mean these are tracks straight from Death Row's biggest albums of which millions and millions of copies are in circulation. Why on earth would you people 1: buy this and 2: care about bonus tracks that you most certainly already have on official CD's?

LOL..I hope you guyz learned your lessons, but you probably didn't...When DR releases The Very Very Very Best of Death Row next year, you'll have another bunch of succaz going out to get that too...Why even bother making new music when you can keep re-releasing recycled material and add a worthless "DVD" & stamp "Digitally Remastered" to it..Suge is probably on his way to the bank right now, depositing yet another profit off a "greatest hits" album

LOL...U Mad? Fag
Fuck that fake ass crip Crip2nite.  Gets on my nerves how some people on these forums

I grabbed a copy at Best Buy too and had the same problem. I wanted to call them but I read a review on Amazon about some dude that had the same problem, and apparently 10 of his friends experienced the same thing at 3 different Best Buy locations along the west coast. I'm gonna try a different store like Target and see if they just packaged the album wrong.

I bought this because it had some of the harder to find tracks that I don't have on original official CDs; tracks like G'z Up Hoes Down, Pain, Loyal To The Game, Let Me Ride (extended mix w/Daz), Puffin' On Blunts & Drankin' Tanqueray and because it also has 24 music videos...all in all I thought $14.99 was a good price for a 3 disc set.  And while I did already have all the bonus tracks it still was kind of disappointing to not get what you paid for when it's clearly labeled on the tracklist with the bonus tracks.  I personally haven't bothered with any of the other crappy Best Of/Greatest Hits, Remix albums or Remastered albums they've been putting out.
