Very good topic and a tough one at that.  I think the Dangerous Crew was the shit but for some reason never amounted to much.  IMO The Luniz only got any mainstream recognition because of "I Got 5 On It" other than that they only have their hard core fans just like The Dangerous Crew.

I personally like The Dangerous Crew more than The Luniz but love both.

I like Rappin Ron & Ant Diddley Dog better but theres not much between them, You Ain't Heard Shit Yet is one of my top 5 favourite bay area tracks and the Bad-N-Fluenz album is my favourite bay album, Nobody from the bay can come close to Rappin Ron on that track

It was on the re-release of the album, which is alot rarer than the OG, Private Cries replaced Torcher Chamber and It had a different cover, I don't know who produced it as I have the original

These 2 tracks are great. Lately I've been bumpin Too $hort's get in where you fit in quite a bit and the dangerous crew songs and the songs wiht bad influenze on that album are incredible.

What are all the dangerous crew albums, whether solo, group, whatever? Goldy rips up that Dangerous crew song on Too Short's album. He reminds me of a bay area Lord Finesse. Dude sounded vicious.

The Luniz owned the Oakland rap scene from 94-96, so I have to disagree. Rappin Ron was a beast though(R.I.P) and I ain't takin nothing away from anyone..

i dont know man, because they only were really liked because of one song.  and most of the luniz fans are mainstream dudes who only know them for "i got 5 on it."  while you got the street fans for Bad-N-Flunze.  and Ant Diddly wouldnt no simp either.
