has anyone seen Harsh Times?
« on: January 03, 2007, 01:22:55 AM »
I just watched it...im kinda stuck on the fence as to whether i liked it or not...one one hand...the title pissed me off...it wasn't harsh times at all...it was a couple of idiots making shit harder than they had to...on the other hand...i felt like the acting was ok...and some of the effects and shit were cool...and it had a decent ending. i guess overall it was a movie i liked...but not one i'd buy unless it was on the blockbuster 5 for 25 previewed dvd shelf

i thought the movie was great, some excellent acting from th elead actors. Main downpoint for me was, they tried to make it too much like training day and it was never going to be as good(its from the same people who made training day).

I want to see this when it comes out on DVD. It looks good, but like wilz said, it looks just like Training Day.

Imma rent it when it comes out, just to see how Christian Bale's acting was in the film.

Real Good Movie, Christian Bale Has Mad Versatility. It's Pretty Funny At Times Too. Def. Worth Checking Out.

i think thats what it was that got me...i knew it was from the people who did training day...but i didn't really expect it to be like as much like training day as it was...not in the story line but just in the same style...

this movie had a crazier ending than training day though...not better...but definitely more shocking

I thought it was great.  Don't worry about it being similar to Training Day, it has the same sort of feel, a lot of dialouge in the car scenes, and its set in LA, but other than that I don't see why its "just like it."

yeah he gives a great performance here too.  I don't know if you've seen The Machinist, but if you haven't definitely check that one out too.
