It's a very subtle song. Storch knows what's up with jazz and funk, it's one slightly dissonant chord ridden on to jazzy perfection but it doesn't jump at you. it's a cruuuuisin' ass song. Same reason play on playa from Nas/snoop/storch wouldn't be a great single. Too subtle in its jazzy sophistication. why did you call it gutter/too much?

one of the reasons why Let's ride didn't do well was its a strictly west coast song that got no airplay on the east, East coast bias strikes again, they just don't play west coast sounding songs unless 50 or Em is on it

Man our radio stations here in San Diego suck!  Our mixes don't even scratch the surface of what Power and KDAY be doin!  Shit they don't even bang there own like Mitchy Slick, my nigga Tiny Doo nothin!  We need that LA management to come down here and help our radio stations out for real! 

I can right an essay on why San Diego radio staions suck ass. Although they did play the One Blood remix with Mitchy Slick frequently before Let's Ride came out.

Yeah they played the hell out of One Blood remix but DAMN Mitch has alot of other songs that easily could've been on the radio!  What happen to West Coast Wednesdays?  Shit Power and KDAY don't care if it's a single or not they gon bang that shit and mention the up and coming!  SD stations don't even play nor mention new west cats like G. Malone, Bishop, Stro etc. none of them!  They play the same shit over and over.  Hell, their mixes even suck!
