What if Dre hadn't of met Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg helped blow the Chronic up as much as Dre did. num sayin? But still I get your point. I just think DMX is all hype, and he doesn't appeal in the least bit to me. I think dude is ignorant. Straight up. Snoop is like a wise O.G. he's been there, and he can give that old school advice to you, Snoop is very intelligent in my opinion.

snoop holds it down for me...i dont really feel dmx's lyrics and i like the flavour that snoop brings to his songs...i guess its all in people preference cuz they both got 2 different styles total oppostie of each other...but i think snoop hands down...HE'S classic!

the great depression is the wackest album to come out this year..his lyrics are not heartfelt and are not hard hitting and catchy like snoops..besides blood is thicker than water, then there was X now this new shit cant fuck with any snoop CD..

i wudnt call snoops lyrics hard hitting..but u cant fuck with him when he's on point on a track..dmx coudlnt come out with a smoothe cut even if he tried..all im sayin is

snoop - battlecat (makes me cry)
dmx - battlecat (makes me wanna cringe)

look at it like that..dmx's lyrics suit HIS beats...snoop goes well with most beats..after all u cant say he's not cos he's everywhere rite now..

Most people on this board like snoop alot better. Too be honest I'm not feelin X like that. I thought he was hot when he first came out then I realized he wasn't that good. His first album was good.

I think snoop's flow is better then X's.
X has more substance in his lyrics though. Especially lately, snoop has been talking about crips in damn near everything.

They are probably about even to tell you the truth.........but I don't like X like that and I like snoop..........
