I voted for meance, i like both obviously, My favorite character out of the 2 movies is easy - ICE CUBe but still i thought Boyz N da hood was a little slow at times. Probably more of a movie to try to send a message as well but with all that said i just prefered menace II sociaty

Menace was a straight up "Goodfella's" storytelling style rip....
The Huges Bros. went to the Martin Scorsese's school of film making for this one.
But the Char's were defo instant classic's & represented 90's Socal's Gangsta life to a tee.

Boyz was a much more diverse flick that showed different lifestyles....
that have the same origin.
+ It had Cube..

Danm!!! I gotta go with Menace on this one tho...
The intro alone had me hooked when I first saw the film.

I like them both, but Boyz N' Da Hood is easily the more realistic one, and that is a plus for me

As for the soundtracks, I without a doubt prefer the Menace II Society one.Too many classic cuts on there - Too $hort, Spice 1, Ant Banks, E-A-Ski, The  Lench Mob, Cold 187um, Brand Nubian, Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth, UGK...Who can go wrong with a line up like that

boyz in the hood was good, but i picked menace 2 society.  for some reason i just like that movie more.  dont get me wrong, ice cube was a G in boyz n da hood tho.
