Game needs a new single ASAP

Man and the funny shit about all this is that Game was all over the radio, TV, magazines wolfing shit about he going to sell a mill the first week.....Man yeah right he haven't even hit a mill in 3 months yet, see the problem with this dude is he got a horrible image, he need to stop acting like his shit don't stink with all the big headed talk and start being a little more humble, and stop trying to look so tough every chance he get.  People would fuck with his shit more, a lot of people just won't buy the album because he was acting so big in them interviews.....

Why do you base the success of Game's album on sales?  Whether it sells 2 mil or 750k it is still going to sound the same.  Some of the best albums I own won't even sell half of what Game has already moved..........Little Brother's "The Listening"  for example.  He has sold enough to where he isn't going to get dropped and he will have an adequate budget for his next album.

Game and 50 pop a lot of shiet about how important record sales are. Now its backfiring on both of them. Their own faults, no one forced them to get all big-headed.

filming for the video of 'wouldnt get so far' starts tuesday !!! for a project which flopped game aint doin bad .. looks at bustas album in comparison .. record companies realize albums arent selling what they used to .. For Game to go platinum in todays record buying climate  and without dre and 50s involvement is a good effort ..add to the fact he is a west coast artist with a single feat kanye on the way and the boys career is far from done !!!

Please Xplain me how Game album flopped, he's going platinum... which is a very good thing regarding the current standards of the industry... shit even Luda who got 4 multiplatinum in a row has to wait 4 months before his cd goes plat, WITH a hit  single

So if Eminem or 50's next albums go 2x plat, you'll say they haven't flopped? You always have to judge soundscan flops by the standards of the respective artists, and not even selling half the units your debut sold with a great album is something I'd consider a disappointment. That isn't taking away the fact that many rappers would be happy with Game's sales. The fact remains that Game is not happy about them, which is completely logical.

^^^^ Well you got a point.. sales could have been better, but Geffen didn't do well when it comes to the timing of the singles, a vid for "Wouldn't Get far" should  already have been on rotation 2 or 3 weeks ago..

Exactly, Games been averaging about 40,000 a week which means he'll probably hit platinum by the end of next month. Game was an idiot for saying 1 mill the first week even though I doubt he really believed it, but him going platinum with no dre behind him, 50 writing his hooks, and an appearance by Em I would say Games album is a success. Game already outsold Busta who had 5 videos and a full album Executive Produced by Dr Dre.

Personally, I hate that "Wouldn't Get Far" track, in my opinion its the worst song on the album. I think "Too Much" would have been a much better choice for a single.
