« on: November 01, 2001, 05:04:14 PM »
I know we're always talking about today this and tomorrow that.....but how do ya'll feel about yesterday? shit man, i gotta say that i've been listening to some classic shit, i think i got almost every marvin gaye album ever, and my collection is about 25 albums deep. curtis mayfield is the shit too, i've got a good 15 of his albums. i hate to agree with that dude steve harvey, but i do have to agree with him when he said that 'you don't know shit about shit unless you know somethin about that old school'. who do you guys like? marvin gaye, curtis mayfield and al green are my favorites. try and get that song "love to the people" by curtis and see if you recognize who sampled it...it's one of the hardest tracks ever by a dpg member........tell me who you like
