I take it that *being gangsta*  means you on the streets, you do dirt, you hustlin, or whatever to make your money and you gang bang, represent your turf and stuff like that.

NO rapper is like that, and if there are rappers like that, i can count them on one hand. Snoop Dogg isnt on the streets, OR he is just chillin at his crib or at at party or osmething OR he is in the studio makin hits and all that OR he is gettin caught by police cause for the 99th time he is too stupid to leave his drugs at home...

Snoop comes more close to a pimp then a gangsta really. I doubt he ever was one, maybe on high school or something, but when he start to made it big time, hell no, he wasnt a gangsta (anymore).

Same with 99,99% of the whole rap game, theyre no *gangsta's*, theyre just businessmen. Putting a product on the market and promote it that way so many people buy it. Nothing more, nothing less. Some rappers are more to the streets then to busniess though, but they far from *gangsta's*...

Not that it's a bad thing, it's good they do business now instead of different things, im sure many of them are happy when they made that clubhit or sold platinum...

And in the end its just about the music they bring out, so as long as that is good, everything is cool for me, i don't care bout nothing but the music.
