« on: January 12, 2007, 10:42:47 AM »
just copped this about a week ago. couple thoughts.

isn't this dudes first album? why is there a dead presidents II? i hate jay z so much

in the beginning of friend or foe dude says "the in my lifetime nigga?" wasn't in my lifetime his second album? isn't this Jay's first album? was 'in my lifetime' the name of his mixtape or what?

jay released his cd's in this order

reasonable doubt
in my lifetime vol. 1
vol. 2 hard knock life
vol. 3 the life and times of s. carter
the dynasty roc la familia
the blueprint
mtv unplugged
the blueprint 2
the blueprint 2.0
the black album
kingdom come

while reasonable doubt isn't my favorite album...(my fav is vol. 1)...his flow on RD and V1 was the best its ever been

while i appreciate it, that doesn't explain why this camel ass dude already has a part II on his first album.

and it doesn't explain why dude in fried or foe is talking about in my lifetime on reasonable doubt.

like nasty nem said...they were promo's...but my question is...why the fuck does it matter? its a classic album...who cares what the titles of the songs are?

^^ Indeed it's simple. There's a "Dead Presidents II" because Jay had already made a song called "Dead Presidents" before. Ask yourself the same question about Mobb Deep's Shook Ones pt2.

Something doesn't really add up.
