pop up websites ur thaughts?

I use a poppup window for my realbrothas.cjb.net site now
coz before that my site loaded really slow & now its goes much faster (this dont count for most sites). & with a poppup you can chance the layout easyer. Like wildnthawest site... if they would take a normal site then it would not be so dope coz they started with  a poppups screen & everyone knew the site because of that & thats the way it had some dope style... toogangsta.net use to work with poppups screens to but it didnt fit with there image so I think they did a good job with that normal layout... & I think if you want a poppup screen then make sure it loads verry fast...

Gfunk.de just changed back to they regular window.  They did it since so many people aren't feelin pop-up windows...LoL.

i´ve changed the layout to a full screen one cause i noticed that my statistics went back to a lower level since i used the pop/chromless windows...also some ppl mentioned that they got probs with these chromless window. i´m not out to win a graphical layout award so i´ve decided to up this new one that all the ppl can view the site with all browsers without any probs...plus i think it loads a bit faster now.

Honestly, I dont know javascripts well, so i dont know the code to do a pop up, but I want people from anywhere to be able to view my site... of course most of us have new, updated software, because were on all the time, but lets says little jimmy with his old windows 3.1 decides to go search on Snoop Dogg, he comes across my site, he'll be able to check it out, you know what I mean... i want to design for the average computer user, I get emails from so many people about my site, and none of them are from this board.... these are people who just stop by to check it out...they don't make a life out of it, they have a question, they ask... ill answer... so i know im getting to more people. I also get people who complain about my site, I remember when I used frames... many people were saying they could not scroll down my NEWS page... HOWEVER I WAS ABLE TO... see where I'm getting at.... Slickk, AlerG, they complained on my board, I could not figure out the problem... they were using the same browser I was, but for some odd reason it wasn't working, so i switched back to tables... ive had no complaints anymore.

I Don't See Whats So Annoying With Pop Up Pages, I Mean Come On Whats The Big Deal? Bpg You Make It Sound Like The Window Is Gonna Pop Up And Fly Around Your Room ( that would be annoying) Anyway To Make My Point Most People Don't Come To Your Site With The Same Browzers, Screen Resolution, etc.. You Can't Possibly Cater To All Those Things At Once And Make The Site Look The Same No Matter What You Do.. The Only Way You Can Make Your Site Look The Same For Every Screen Resolution Is Make A Pop Up.. Which Looks Very Clean & Neat Simple To Navigate.. I Literally Get 15-20 E-mails A Day Asking Me To Make Them A Page Just Like Mine.. When I Come To This Board I Notice The People Bitch And Complain Too Much.. Just Like When Overseer Put The New Colors Up People We're Bitching.. Let's Get Real Pop Ups Aint Really That Bad... It's Just Sumthing To Complain About..

Side Note Our Hits Went Up About 60%  When We Put Our New Layout Up.. Hmmmm..

nah nate of lock'd down used "diagotic" style for the tharow's site & if you go to sites that are about technologie, robots all that shit you will see more of those sites... I used diagotic to not because of tharow's site but because its a style that not every site has in the hip-hop, rap game...

LOL, Ok My Site Don't Have The Fly Around The Room Feature YET, But It Does Have A Boom Boom Room.. What Gets Me Is The Fact That This Board Expands And Looks Rather Shitty.. When 80% Of The Visitor Coming To This Board Have A 800x600 Screen Res. I'd Be Dope If We Could Get The Forum Not To Expand Full Screen.. It Has A Messy Feel To It,I Think Anyway...
