He does not want to buy the entire franchise, but be a part owner. Some real haters in here. It would be a dream to say "I own part of them" and be referring to an NBA team... guess Will Smith was right in 'Pursuit of HappYness', people will tell you that something can't be done just because they can't do it...

I definitely don't hate on that...that is a WHOLE LOT better than spending 5 mil on Jewelry or another house. It just sounds funny as hell because he's so young, and because people already see him as a joke. If Will Smith, or an older rapper such as Dre or even Snoop said it, it would sound a bit better....but comin from him, people probably see it like "hey, I'm Bow Wow....I am baaaaaaallin....so let me buy a NBA team!!!"

the funny part is that none of that haters in here could buy the hawks. So what if hes young, hes got alot of disposible income, and let him spend it the way he wants and the haters should go back to collecting foods stamps, flipping burgers, and watching tv!

Naw, for real.. The Atlanta Spirit LLC, the main owner, spent $208 million in 2004 to buy the team, and the current value of the team is about $262 million. Do the kid have the money?
