What if Snoop had signed with Above the Law?

I have to say I was shocked when I watched "Welcome to Death Row" and Snoop said that he was originally close to signing with Above the Law, but eventually signed with Death Row when Cold 187um told him he would have to wait awhile to do his album. I had never heard that mentioned anywhere else before. The biggest suprise was when he said the song "Never Missing a Beat" which is an ATL classic was originally intended for him.

But anyway, I was wodnering how people think Snoop's career would have turned out if he had stayed with ATL and not signed with Dr. Dre. Do you think Snoop would be as big a star as he is now? Would ATL be bigger stars then they are now, and would Dre have become as famous? Would Warren G, Nate, the Dogg Pound and the rest have become stars? What do you guys think?

If snoop went with ATL... well, lets just say... he would still be rolling in the LBC or dead... i think without dre, snoop couldn't have made it.... faith... it plays games when you look back on it

Snoop wouldnt have got as big as he did, but he'd still be an underground west coast legend like ATL are now. and he wouldnt have as many gay teeny bopper fans probably.

Yeah, he prolly never would've blown up, hell without Dre there would've been no "Doggystyle"!!! Well, there might of been the title but not the actual classic material. It was all in the cards I think, the whole Death Row Records legacy was fate, as much as some of it was hard times it built up hip-hop in a big way. Without Snoop's connection wit Dre/Death Row Daz never would've come up either, shit alot of shit would'nt of happened.

I think that if you take one of the 'O's' out of 'Good' it's 'God', if you add a 'D' to 'Evil' it's the 'Devil'. I think some cool motherfucker sat down a long time ago and said 'let's figure out a way to control motherfuckers'.
