Historic Interview With DJ Bobcat (Full Thing Now Up!!)
« on: January 22, 2007, 03:48:54 PM »
Raptalk.net recently sat down with Hip Hop legend DJ Bobcat, his wife Chanel and business parter Bigg Steele (who all help him with The Foundation/West Coast DJ's & Producers Company)....

We sat for over an hour and a half discussing everything from his days with Uncle Jamm's Army, to producing LL Cool J's greatest hits, The formation of The L.A. Posse, working with a young and humble Tupac Shakur, the clique of himself 2pac MC Ren and Eazy E hanging out at clubs, and of course his current work with The Foundation which is out to help artists, dj's and producers expand their careers...

Part 1 is now up and we will be continuing more tomorrow.... enjoy part 1 for now...

Coming up next.... Hooking up with LL Cool J and recording his masterpiece "Bigger And Deffer"... and the classic story of how "Mama Said Knock You Out" was made (and this one will surprise most fans)....

I would love to see a documentary or read a book charting the history of west coast DJ's, starting with Afrika Islam and Mixmaster Spade all the way through the Mixmaster DJ's. That would be an interesting book right there.

Thats not a bad idea... I have upcoming interviews with Tony G who is like the Godfather of all West Coast DJ's and also with The Egyptian Lover....
