DRE was around WAYYYYYY before quik
remember dre was in NWA which was before quik
and quik did not make it big in 91 and 92 he didnt get big atleaste a few years after chronic and i never said as a lyricsit dre was better nah quik can flow i give him that

I loved Dre's flow especially on, "The Chronic."  He had a better FLOW than Quik from '92-'96.  You gotta admit the way Dre delivered those lyrics on Chronic 2 he recited them like they were his own.  He did a good job wit flow on, "2001."  On songs like, "U Know" & "Put It On Me" Dre's verses are cut up and don't have a flow to them.  Now a days, Quik has a better flow.  Still, I love hearing Dre spit new verses.

Damn,They Make Music Together, It's Nothin' But Love All Around, You Don't Need To Be In First Place In Everything In Life, Unless You Got A Small Dick, So What You All Worried About Making Sure Dre's In First Place?

Not big till after tha Chronic??

Damn dawg... you must have not been stayin in tha 213 when Quik Is Tha Name came out cuz EVERYONE was bumpin "Tonite" and "Sweet Black Pussy" in those dayz.

And why did you have to take it back to tha NWA dayz... you said The Chronic... you didnt say "Straight Outta Compton" influenced Quik. Even though it probably did since he is Straight Outta Compton... he just came out with a sound of his own.

Quit trippin... you went on and on with your shit talking... I dont even know what you're tryna say anymore... what point are you tryna prove in this whole thread?

Dre is great quik is good and one day quik will probally follow in the foot steps of dre and yeah i didnt live in Long beach in 91-92 i was Down in the 619 at that time

Both Quik and Dre are GREAT! Dre is just better but Quik is not good he's GREAT!

What the hell is that?  Dre was in and out of jail, and he was startin to doubt his future with Tha Row.  He knew shit was gonna crumble so he started to make the outline for Aftermath.  Dre was the smart one.  Dam Dimu, I love Quik, but same shit can be said for Quik about G-One on a lot of Quik tracks.  Still, Dre gives his co-producers respect and the proper credits on songs.  SO what Dre takes a while, all that matters is the outcome...classic.  Peace man.

to the idiot that said mr. quik wasnt successful til after the chronic - read up biotch. Quik Is The Name (1991 - before the chronic)  was Quik's most successful album (only one that went platinum) so how about that? and naw i dont need anybody to agree with me cuz that is FACT!

and to be honest, i dont give a shit who's going plat or not, i like what i like. and I love quik's music, and i love dre's music, so why do some people have to hate. i swear if shit like this continues, the west coast will never move forward.

I say FUCK this topic. I like my music. I like Quik more than Dre. Thats my prerogative. Lets just this let topic die. The more we reply to it, the more it makes LatinThugLife213 want to post more topics. Thats something that I really dont want.

You ain't gonna stop Dimu, Logic, etc, from "dickriding" by sending out a tirade with dodgy facts and constantly changing arguments.

Use MUSICAL evidence, dawg. Not interviews, I mean, lots of people say Dre's an influence, but most ain't nuttin like him...

I prefer Heartz Of Men to most every Dre track, and I LOVE 99% of Dre tracks.

Ain't got nuttin but love for 'em...

Perhaps you should take your cue from your sugar daddy, Dre:
