I was eight when he died but rap music became known to me a few years later. Luckily they taped Live at the House of Blue gig.

I saw him in 1991 at the Hollywood Paladium when his first album hadnt even dropped yet.  I was in the Navy at the time.  Then I saw him on July 4th 1996 at The House Of Blues for his last concert in LA before he died.  I still have the ticket that I carry in the back of my check book.  LOL... dont ask why but I always know its there.

BTW, he got boooed in 1991.  People didnt know him and he was hella cocky on stage.  He had these yellow jeans on and was saggin down to his ankles.  It was crazy to see him get NO LOVE back then.
