Wow, I can't believe they got those dudes on here!!!  Nas is doing soooo much with respect to Hip Hop.  Nobody is on his level in the game.  He continues to blow me away.

Jungle Brothers, Rob Base, Monie Love, ES, Das EFX, Black Sheep, oh my god this shit is CRAZY!!!!

It's fuckin so dope how they looped some of these cats beats into the song.

The craziest shit to me is that they all spit hella nice shit.  They still shit on 90% of the rappers today and half of them are rusty.

MAD PROPS FOR THIS!!!!

Edit:

Fuckin Father MC & Positive K?!?!  This is seriously the best shit I've heard in so long!!!  Now I'm gonna have to throw together some shit...

Here's some classic joints from the people that Nas featured on that remix.  If I missed anybody let me know.  The only one I couldn't find a youtube for is The Original Spinderella.

Redhead Kingpin - Do The Right Thing (If yall don't know about the New Jack Swing style, this is your intro.)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/kvkuyo8jg-U" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/kvkuyo8jg-U</a>

Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock - It Takes Two (Oh my god turn this up - I wanna rock right now, I'm rob base and I came to get down, I'm not internationally known, but i'm known to rock the microphone...)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/HztZVa_8ZHI" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/HztZVa_8ZHI</a>

Father MC ft. Jodeci - Everything's Gonna Be Alright (Again, New Jack Swing tip.  Jodeci on this one, he also blew up Mary J Blige as one of his background singers back in the day)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/rIaBMP2kH-8" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/rIaBMP2kH-8</a>

Monie Love - It's a Shame (My Sister) (Some peeps will know her from embarrassing Young Jeezy on the air regarding Hip Hop Is Dead, but I know her from joints like this with the classic Spinners sample)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/yc7MXxdgYVY" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/yc7MXxdgYVY</a>

Jungle Brothers - Straight Out The Jungle (Part of the native tongues movement with ATCQ, De La, Latifah, Brand Nubian, etc.  Any Jeru The Damaja fans will recognize the classic sample "In the J-U-N-G-L-E)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/KUDAnPlYLKg" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/KUDAnPlYLKg</a>

3x Dope - Funky Dividends (I posted this in one of my "Come Inside..." threads a while back.  This is one of my favorite songs of all time.  It'll never get old to me)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/mJYDKmB8p_I" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/mJYDKmB8p_I</a>

Positive K - I Got A Man (Classic track.  Just awesome)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/uVbAXWBoKB0" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/uVbAXWBoKB0</a>

DAS EFX - They Want EFX (Bump Shtiggity Bump Shtiggity Bump...These were some crazy ass MC's.  Straight verbal gymnastics.  You'll hear this beat on the Nas joint)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/9neAkFa1Z-M" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/9neAkFa1Z-M</a>

Lords of the Underground - Chief Rocka (Talk about spittin hard on a beat, these dudes bring the fuckin heat.  This is where the sample from Biggies "Machine Gun Funk" came from - "I live for the funk, I die for the funk")

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/YFbLRZCExBk" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/YFbLRZCExBk</a>

Black Sheep - The Choice Is Yours (Jazz meets the hardcore.  "Engine Engine number nine, on the New York transit line, If my train goes off the track, PICK IT UP, PICK IT UP, PICK IT UP, Back on the scene..." Damn this is raw.)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/jF5_KMmHD1A" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/jF5_KMmHD1A</a>

Yo man, that is Breeze from the King Tee albums, remember that Ghetto freestyle song he was on?  Ridiculous song, Breeze killed it, so did Tee, J-Ro and Xto that Z too.

Love this westcoasta remix, but there is no way it is touching this 90's remix............havet heard the 80's one yet.

Props to Nas, this was a great idea, something original or at least different from what we have been getting the last 6-7 years
